NGC 7000 North American Nebula

[The Thing]

Long time since I did this old chestnut!

First light for my ZWO AM3 mount on it carbon fibre tripod. Unguided. Polar alignment done with PHD2 Polar Drift Alignment - very easy and quick.

71x60s at Unity Gain and sensor temperature at 0c. 10x Dark, Flats, Dark Flats.

Images captured using a Raspberry Pi 5 and Ain Imager (very nice software) which comes with the Indigo suite of server/drivers etc. Like but better than INDI (IMHO) which is like ASCOM ish. So I can set it off using remote access from my tablet and just leave it to run, all battery powered and I can lift the whole lot with one hand.

I can only think the colour has come from the filter which I only grabbed for testing purposes, it was never made for modern imaging. It's been Spectrographically colour corrected by Pixinsight so the stars are right.
