Total Lunar Eclipse - Rain stopped play

We would have had a good viewing session at Ashford Astro tonight.  I took my scope down there, as did many other folk.  But rain stopped play.  100% cloud

Nothing in Bromley either ~ annoying after the mostly clear nights we have had recently.

Being in the same location as Hugh, yes ditto to the cloud.

But I am wondering whether we would have seen much anyway since total eclipse happened so early and it doesn't get dark until late.

The rain yesterday and again this morning has cooled the temperatures down thank goodness and really are welcome, but typical that they came a few hours too soon.
