That looks like your best Saturn to date Duncan.  Great stuff. 

Is it possible to slightly reduce the graininess or have you already done as much as you dare?

PS: I tried a couple of iterations in PS filter noise/despeckle and it got rid of the graininess without affecting the image.

Saturn is really difficult to get this year so that's not a bad result.  A night with perfect seeing would make all the difference!

Thanks Carole, itvwould be nice if it were sharper. If I reduce the graininess then the small amount of feature detail goes too since the noise reduction is essentially smoothing.
