M45 over the years

You can see I am getting bored with the lack of clear skies and galaxy season.

I have done M45 a number of times over the years and I wondered what would happen if I combined all the images together.

This is the one done in 2011, With the Megrez 72 and DSLR - 31 x 300secs


Then I combined that with some luminance in January 2016 using the Atik460 and ED80, 13 x 5mins


Then at the end of 2016 I imaged in LRGB with my Newtonian 130PDS, Lum 8 x 900secs
RGB 6 x 300secs binned x 2 each


The FOV was obviously different (thanks Registar) but this is the result when all combined together:

I sometimes can't find my Raw or fits files from old images, but I normally have the final Tiff/PNG file of old images.

It's lucky you weren't using scopes with diffraction spikes in varying directions!
