Taken at Cairds, 160515.
Not enough subs and  The Iris must be done in RGB, which means it could go on for the next 5 years!

Bit of a reflection bottom left. This is only a rough process

Whats the reflection from? Is there a bright star nearby... Lots more subs needed for this one

Fay

I cant see the reflection on the individual subs,  i also think it was from an external source. i have made the size a bit better for looking at a bigger picture, when clicked on, but yes loads more needed

Very nice Fay. One of my favourite objects.

That's a good start Fay.  I see you used the CLS filter - was there a lot of light pollution ?

Fay

There was pollution along the horizon where I was situated

Thanks Julian

It'll take a lot of exposure to pull up all that dust but I'm sure the result will be worth all the effort.  It's always been a tricky customer for me so I hope you get better results.

Looking forward to how it develops.

That's looking very good!

But it really needs the colour :-(
Tony might disagree, though.
