Nikon Z6 Mod

I've gone and done it - modified my Nikon Z6.  It's the easiest camera I've done - just remove the blue filter behind the piezo dust removal filter.





It can still be used for daytime photography, with a custom colour balance.  Here are some spectra showing the effects of the filters:



The bluish filter that needs to be removed is Filter2 in the above plot.

So is this camera going to be used instead of the A7S or in addition to?
If the latter what are your plans for it.

I'm keeping both. The big pixels of the A7S are very well suited to the C11.  The smaller pixels of the Z6 are ideal for the Tak Epsilon.

What fun, I love losing those little screws, it's so nice when you find them again! Not. This camera should turn out some stonking images if the clouds ever clear.
