Rick do you think people are confused by the fact that the links are the same colour as the titles, etc ? If so can they be changed?

The titles are also links (so that you can get the link for an individual message within a conversation) which is why they're link-coloured... :wall:

:wall: Generally, unless the poster has played silly bees, links in the forum are this colour (http://www.orpington-astronomy.org.uk). So, generally, if you see something written in that color, then it's a link, and if it's a link you can click on it to find further information. That's the fundamental core idea of the whole Web... :wall:

Not really, you can change the links in the forum using the existing CSS

, you will see that it is in its own div with a class of post, i.e. div.post, you can change any of the elements that refer to that class of post.
So it would be easy to change the anchors within that class to a different colour, without changing the colours of the links outside of the posts
You should be able to tweek the css sheet for the forum, if not then all people need to do is to install a plug in that allows them to change the css on the fly.
Loads of people change web pages after they have loaded, especially people with impaired vision as they can change the fonts to be bigger, different colours ect.
Links in MY FORUM are the same colour as everyone elses, but links inside posts are green.

I don't expect many folk (other than Mac) use this sort of wizardry, but the update planned for tomorrow (Tuesday) morning will break any custom local CSS you may have, as the new version uses a rather different style template, so re-engineering may be required.
