I am based in Hornchurch, Essex and currently a member of Havering Astronomical Society. I normally concentrate on observing occultations, both lunar and asteroidal. Other transient events interest me as well such as Lunar Meteor impacts, comets and generally chasing asteroids. Because of my local light pollution I frequently travel to star parties to enjoy some deep sky observing. I notice that there are deep sky camps arranged by OAS members which I would be interested to sometimes possibly attend if family and job commitments allow.
