Title: Mars from Beckenham 29/04/14 21:29:46
Post by: The Thing on Apr 30, 2014, 09:42:49
Mars again, LX90 8", IR/UV and Ostara Moon/Skyglow (Neodymnium clone) with my home made double barlow. It's a Meade 2x triplet and a Moonfish 2x ED in an extendable t-threaded tube. I have rehoused my colour SPC900NC in a small tin (I think it has reduced noise a bit) as well so I could get my webcam to t-thread adaptor on it. All nice and solid. This is first light.

600 of 1200 frames @30fps in FireCapture. Stacked in AutoStakkert2 and sharpened, RGB Aligned and rotated in Registax 6. No other processing.

I believe that's Olympus Mons sticking up in the middle!
