Title: Website facelift
Post by: Rick on Aug 12, 2013, 23:21:09
The main website has had a make-over. Hopefully, everything that matters has been transferred successfully to the new version. It is, however, very much a work in progress...

You should be able to use the same username and password as you used on the old main site (not the forum). Some parts of the site are hidden from non-members, so please do log in.

Please report any problems either by email or in the Updates and Upsets (http://forum.orpington-astronomy.org.uk/index.php?board=4.0) section of the forum.

The old ones are the worst! (Blame Greg; they've been there aaaages!)

P.S. Did you manage to log in eventually?

Yes thanks Rick - reset password, so that's something else that works

Yes, I'd tested that, but it only works if the site has a valid email address for you. If it doesn't, then send a PM or email to me. There's an email form on the website intended mainly for membership enquiries, but it will get the message through.

If you get a password wrong several times within a short interval then you'll be prevented from trying again for about 15 minutes.
