Post by: Fay on Apr 15, 2013, 09:09:12
I have got message, computer not protected as "anti rootkit kernal mode driver not found". i have done a rootkit search & it says ok.

rang help line, girl from Taiwan,  stressed me so much by not knowing what i am talking about, i had to stop the call.

Grateful for a solution.

Tony i think i will have to change. you never know if AVG do things to make you buy something else. it seems this rookkit problem is common with it.

avast is totally free, it costs nothing, unless you want the upgrade, which is not worth it.

Plus avast has a remote help function built in which is fantastic.

Well I'm flabbergasted.

:o This is the first time I have suggested something, and more than just Flis has agreed with me, not that that is too often.

PS........Now I'm thinking of something good for the next suggestion.
