Title: A crack at a galaxy

This is not the most interesting galaxy up there, I just happened to spot it while looking at Andromeda last night. To spice the piccie up, I used Simbad to ID a couple of the fainter stars. The V mag is detailed.

This really only shows the core of M32, the actual extent of the galaxy is beyond the edges of the CCD. Details; 10, 15 second exposures, Registax'd and gimped.

I also took some frames of 30 sec exposure, but due to the additional noise on the CCD there is actually less detail. I'll be ordering a peltier then...
