Title: 12 hours of Cone, Fox Fur and Christmas Tree Cluster
Post by: MarkS on Mar 03, 2012, 17:04:53
I think this is the longest total exposure time I have ever done.

It comprises:
60 x 5 min with CLS filter at ISO 800
81 x 5 min with IR/UV filter at ISO 800
Imaged over 3 evenings: 27 Nov and 19 Feb at High Halden, then 25 Feb at Rother Valley Deep Sky Camp

As usual, H-alpha modified Canon 350D on Tak Epsilon 180ED

Larger version (full frame but 2/3 scaled) here:

I think this one might go off to a magazine  ;)

Not bad I suppose, good effort

Sorry, old habits
Very nice

I prefer the full size image, it sort of shows everything in context
