Taken 191211, 16x600, with QSI, 7nm ha filter, SW ED80, 0.85 FR. The sky was not that good, a lot of cloud, but around midnight, when i went to bed, it was a beautiful sky....should have stayed up.
I have another 9x600 i can add to rhis

Excellent the 7nm makes a big difference on the image, but why is the field of view narrower than mine, same scope same camera?
Chris
Is it Chris? If so cannot explain it! SW fr/ED80/QSI.
Might just be the position?
Yes yours is higher than mine, just been checking the sizes
Beautiful image Fay, with lots of detail. As you say, it's a shame you didn't stay up longer - the sky was continually improving until 1am.
Unfortunately I can't see the Flickr version - it seems to want me to log in with a Yahoo ID.
Mark
Fay,
Yet another impressive image, but your image is set for private viewing on Flickr.
Tony G
thanks Tony, Mark, i did not realise i had FLICKR on private viewing.,.....must take those pictures off
Yep, very nice and I guess the 7nM really does make a difference.
Tip:
If you stop uploading porn, you would have no need for a "private" setting

Lovely image Fay, it would be interesting to compare it to the one when you first got your QSI.
Carole
Excellent Fay - can't fault it. Excellent focus, FOV & processing - You should make a montage of all your horse-head images to track your progress through the years....
John
Thank you very much
Yep, that's really lovely Fay. Being picky there's just a bit of noise in the faint areas but the other 9 subs should improve on that and allow you to bring out even more of the faint detail.
Robert
thanks Robert, yes will see what i can do
