Just out of interest, when do you sleep exactly? Do you have a hammock in the office?
What size is the CCD in that camera, the field is pretty wide for a 500mm lens.
Oh, and well done! You've gone and raised the bar again on the society's skill level, I think maybe some guerilla action on the electricity supply to your house should allow the rest of us to catch up :grin:
I should add that they were taken with the moon 50% illuminated inthe sky too. :grin:

No, It was using the Starlight Express and a 500mm photographic mirror lens

Has anyone done any qantitative comparisons of image resolution between webcam-type capture systems and custom astronomical image capture systems?
Just seemed to me that these images were really nice and crisp.
