Formal announcements should go to the main website.
The Behind the Scenes (http://forum.orpington-astronomy.org.uk/index.php?board=6.0) section should be used if a discussion should only be seen by members of the OAS.
Another section (Chat (http://forum.orpington-astronomy.org.uk/index.php?board=3.0), for instance) appropriate to the event's nature should be used if an event is not being organised by the OAS.
Good idea Rick. It makes a lot more sense to have a seperate section for these kind of entries.
