Title: Occultation of Pleiades by the moon.
Post by: Mac on Sep 12, 2006, 07:52:48
Just to let you know.

Tonight starting at 19:45 BST, the moon will start to occult the Pleiades.
Unfortunatly at this time its below our horizon and wont rise untill just after 20:00.

It probably wont be visible from Orpington untill much later.

As the occultation finishes about 21:35, we might be able to get some views of it a bit later on.

Could present a challenge for someone.

Mac.
