just to let anyone know if anyone is interested that i've just seen a Philips Toucam Pro II on QVC for £30.10 plus p&p.
The item no. is 554 630 and the phone no. is 0800504030
this is a really good price for someone looking at starting astrophotography or as a second camera so adaptions can be made without costing a fortune to the camera (SC3)

Hi Tony, This is not the PRO - It's just the FUN Toucam - I think this has a CMOS sensor not a CCD - It is not as sensitive & will not be as good for planets etc.. I also don't think you can mod this to SC3 - You need to make sure you have the CCD model...
The Toucam Pro II is no longer available....
