Title: Fireball over Shrewsbury 13th April 23:45
Post by: Rick on Apr 19, 2022, 19:38:29
On the night of April 13th/14th, shortly after 23:45 UTC, a fireball was recorded over Shrewsbury by many meteor and fireball cameras around the UK. My GMN camera caught part of its flight, but on the edge of its field of view. That night the camera also caught 11 other meteors, all sporadics.

The fireball has attracted a little media attention (http://forum.orpington-astronomy.org.uk/index.php?topic=12495.0) because it may have led to one or more meteorites reaching the ground.
