Title: Wizard nebula combined data from 2020 and 2015
Post by: Carole on Nov 12, 2020, 00:06:33
As I am doing a few repeated images now, where possible I am trying to combine the data together as I never get a chance to do as much data each time due to weather and time at location etc.
So I think combined this will be the most data I have collected for one target @ just over 13 hours.

The differing FOVs necessitated a rotate and Crop.

Data from 2020 Taken in Bortle 8 (Home)
SW Esprit100 and Atik460EX

Data from 2015 Taken in Bortle 4 Kelling Heath
Dual Rig SW ED120/Atik460EX
SW ED80/Atik314L
Both on HEQ5

Ha (2020 - 28 x 600) + (2015 - 22 x 600) total 50 x 600 = 8 hours 20m
Oiii (2020 - 18 x 300 binned) + (2015 - 4 x 600) = total 2h 10m
Sii (2020 – 18 x 300 binned) + (2015 – 7 x 600) = total 2h 40m
Total imaging time = 13hours 10mins

Very nice Carole.  The image has plenty of signal and the background is smooth.  It could do with some sharpening of details in the nebula and star profiles in my opinion  But lovely in any case.

Thanks Roberto, I already did some Sharpening, I am not sure it will take any more.
