Title: Observing evening 27th February 2020
Post by: doug on Feb 28, 2020, 10:22:47
I should like to say thanks to all those members - and non members - who turned up for a brilliant Observing evening last night.  The weather could not have been better; brilliant starry skies and a wealth of objects to see there; a crescent Moon and the planet Venus, along with a wonderful Orion and it`s nebulae, plus everything else. But it was cold .....

Thanks to Sue and Helen for dealing with the hot drinks and for practical assistance given to people for their scopes. Because it was just observing, the talk about the basics of imaging will be held another evening when the weather isn`t so kind. But once again, a brilliant and worthwhile evening.

     Cheers, Doug.

Very much support Doug's comments - an excellent opportunity to share insights and peer through each others' scopes.  Thanks to Doug and Rose for hosting us.
