The iPhone didn't manage to achieve focus  :(

no , its good at close up but not for distance focus,

Does it have manual focus?  The camera on my phone (a Samsung) has a "Pro" mode where it can be manually focused.

I'm not into the imaging as you know but I understood that if you can alter the focus, you should set it to 'infinity' then use the focus of the scope?
