Title: IC1396 HOO
Post by: Carole on Oct 11, 2019, 14:31:37
This is a reprocess of an image done a while back, which I was never really happy with, so decided to reprocess it.

A lot happier with it now, though it could benefit from a lot more data.

This is the original image thread:

Ha 10 x 600 Atik428EX/WOZS71
Oiii from 2017 9 x 300 binned 460EX/WOZS71
RGB 10 x 300 binned Atik460EX/ED80

Dual Rig on HEQ5
I think this was done in November 2018

That's a good result.

I have nothing against reprocessing old data.  It's an excellent way of benchmarking how your skills are processing.  Your skills have certainly progressed.

Thank you Mark.  In this particular reprocess I placed less emphasis on the Ha (which overwhelmed the Oiii) and more emphasis on the Oiii in order to bring out the blues.
