This has got to be the faintest target I have ever done and doing it from my back garden at Bortle 8 made it even more of a challenge. You could hardly see it even after severe stretching and several subs
I could not find any data in Oiii or Sii - probably it needs a dark sky, so I did HaRGB.
SWED80 & Atik428EX
HEQ5
Ha 3 x 600 (then realised I needed to do longer subs)
Ha 12 x 900
Red 5 x 300 binned x 2
Green 7 x 300 binned x 2
Blue 5 x 300 x 2
Total Imaging time:
Ha 3 h 45mins
RGB 1 h 25mins
Grand total 5h 10 mins (all done in one evening went to bed at 4.15am)

I think that's come out very well Carole and nicely processed. There's a bit of noise in the background but it's not easy to control with your sky. I don't think most people appreciate the challenge of imaging with so much light pollution.
Robert
Thank you Robert, yes I attempted a couple of other targets this week that I had to abandon due to the LP. I wasn't even sure this one would come out, so was stacking a few subs as I went along to see if it would improve. Glad I persevered.
This is a single 600sec Ha sub unstretched.

It's screen shot from Maxim which flips the images vertically.
Carole
Never heard of it! Lovely shot and very nice colour.
Thanks Duncan.
I get lots of my imaging ideas from Astrobin, trouble is they live all over the world and you don't know what sort of skies they have or how difficult the image might be to capture.
Carole
Well done Carole
Impressed with the colour.
Noel
Thanks Noel
