Title: Comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner + M35
Post by: MarkS on Sep 18, 2018, 11:59:03
The comet moved!

Here it is on Saturday morning (15 Sept).  Being lazy, this is a straight stack of 10 exposures - none of this awkward mullarky of separate stacking for comet and star field.

As usual, H-alpha modified Sony A7S on Tak Epsilon 180ED taking 30sec exposures at ISO 10000.

The pretty cluster next to M35 is NGC2158.

Very nice image Mark.  Did you get much in the way of clear skies?

As you probably heard Kelling had hardly any clear sky at all.

NOOOOO!!  You've done it again!  I recognise that tune and it's implanted itself in my brain again :(
