Title: Heart of the Heart
Post by: MarkS on Aug 12, 2018, 19:58:26
Here's one of my collimation experiments from last week but it produced a half reasonable image.  It is the centre of the Heart Nebula IC 1805.

One hour of data in the usual 30sec subs (a proper image would require a lot more).  Modified Sony A7S on Celestron C11 with Starizona LF Corrector.

I haven't managed to show the fine structures in the filaments - I think H-alpha is much better for that.
