Rose and I went down to Bexhill yesterday to see our family and on our way to the De La Warr center; on the green in front of the building, there were three members of the East Sussex Astronomical Society viewing the Sun with their telecopes. So we had a chat with them; one of them was making a video of Solar prominences visible in Ha through a Lunt ... very good with large prominences visible. They were wearing their ESAS poloshirts with an embroidered logo on the shirt; very posh.
It would make a good viewing place if a trip and permission was granted. I will have a chat with the main man in ESAS and see what I can arrange, if that is acceptable.
