The Observing evening last night was a real success, with 14 members and 5 guests arriving. The new arrivals seemed very interested in the proceedings, especially as there were about half a dozen `scopes erected on the patio and everybody managed to get a view of Venus or Jupiter and it`s attendant moons.
I should like to thank everybody who turned up and those people who did a lot of explaining how telescopes worked to the guests. I feel that the Observing evenings will go from strength to strength, especially if new people come along and join the Society, as I believe some people did, and we have more members attending as well.
Thank you all,
Doug.
You're doing a great job Doug, not only for the observing sessions but in recruiting new members through them.

Hi Doug,
In my opinion, the best one yet with a real buzz and sense of a society.
Well done.

Glad to hear it went so well, Doug. Sounds like a good job from the other members as well.
