Title: IC2162 HOSRGB
Post by: Carole on Jan 19, 2018, 14:37:30
Couldn't waste the clear night last night, but it's getting difficult to find targets I can do from Bromley.  Spotted this target on another forum, did not even know it existed until then.

Atik460EX
SW130PDS
HEQ5

Ha 4 x 600 + 14 x 900 (just over 4 hours)
Oiii and Sii 7 x 300 binned each (hardly anything in Oiii)
RGB 7 x 150 binned each.
Total 6 hours 12.5 minutes
Astroart, Registar and Photoshop CS3

Probably could do with some luminance, but that will have to wait until a dark location.
I measured the SQM last night (with Roger's loaned gadget), it was 19.7 at the Zenith, but 18.48 towards the North and South.

Very nice Carole, interesting target and nicely colour rendition. Bound to be called the Pink Puffballs or something.

Thanks Duncan, yes it is an odd Nebula, which you seem to have aptly named.
