It's been a while since I did any LRGB. I couldn't decide whether to do this target in Narrowband or Broadband, so started off in Ha, which is annoying because I did 1 1/2 hours Ha before I decided to change to broadband and then only managed 1 hour luminance and 12.5 minutes of RGB before it clouded up. The Ha doesn't seem to add anything to the image if also added, so this is just LRGB.
Dual rig - HEQ5 - Kelling Heath:
W0ZS71/Atik314L
ED80/Atik460EX
Luminance 6 x 600
Red 2 x 150secs binned
Green 2 x 150secs binned
Blue 1 x 150secs binned
With so little RGB and only 1 sub blue I wasn't expecting much, so am reasonably pleased how it has come out.

That has come out extraordinarily well. It's one of my favourite regions of sky for natural colour imaging because there is so much going on. Your colours look perfect - I can't believe you got away with so few RGB subs.
Really well done!
Mark
Thanks Mark.
QuoteI can't believe you got away with so few RGB subs.
Neither can I, it wasn't by planning, it was courtesy of clouds.

Like it,

Like it too. Good one Carole!

This is the version using Mark's great photoshop star colour process.
Much happier with this now and will certainly use this process again when doing broadband images.
