Hello everyone,
Rob and I are going to Chelsfield for an impromptu astronomy evening on Saturday, 5th August .
The actual site is in the middle of the green with good easterly, southerly and westerly views with not much of light pollution at coordinates:

Please feel free to join us for a casual evenings observing.
Thanks for letting us know. hope its a good evening.
Fay
Yes thanks for advertising it. I am more an imager than an observer and not sure how many people access the forum apart from the imagers.
Hope you have a good one and perhaps we'll see you at Cairds again at some point.
Carole
Getting non-imagers to use the forum as well would be a good thing...
There's also a mailing list to help with arranging for this sort of event, but it's only for OAS members. The details are in a "Behind the Scenes" sticky-post with the title "Flash-mob adhoc astronomy".
