Title: DSC 21 - 23 July
Post by: Carole on Jul 10, 2017, 10:54:43
Well apart from the following people no-one else has let me know that they are going.
Don't forget you have to book in July and August (if there are any pitches left).  If you are going and haven't told me, please add you name to this list.

Roger
Carole
Dave T (from SGL lives in Swanley)

I decided that this is the best option for the summer, since Running Water is now being managed by Len's daughter and there were no vacancies.  Rother Valley is normally booked out unless we book in advance, and Blacklands is crowded, noisy and lots of lights.  Cairds is nice, dark and small, and not noisy and crowded and the Owner is very co-operative.

Since those wanting to go were happy to book and pay.  It is the same risk if you book for Kelling.

Don't forget if you are going, not to go via Ticehurst due to Battenhurst Road being blocked for gas works.  Go via Hurst Green, A265 through Etchingham, and turn right just before Burwash into Shrub Lane.

Just Roger and I from OAS came to DSC this weekend.  Plus a chap called Dave from SGL who lives in Swanley who is keen to come again.

Roger got a clear night on Thursday, but Dave and I didn't get a clear enough night to do any imaging.

Hopefully past "regulars" will start coming again at some point.  There is a new OAS member interested and also a chap called Ray from Maidstone (also SGL), who will come once his wife is over her chemotherapy etc.
