Title: Baader Filter Product Recall: OIII 8.5nm CCD Narrowband Filter
Post by: Roy on Oct 28, 2015, 11:24:08
I just spotted this on the FLO website, apparently some Baader OIII filters are producing halos around bright stars.

First Astronomik now Baader, hopefully they can sort it out quickly and it doesn't tarnish their image like I think it did to Astronomik.

I have 2 Baader Oiii filters one in each wheel.  I have checked the one in the EFW and that seems to be OK, must check the one in the manual wheel and see what that produced but I bought that one 2nd hand, so not sure if they would take it back if there was a problem.
