I took the Ha from home but the Oiii was awful in Bromley, so I took the Oiii at Kelling
Atik314L & Skywatcher ED120 on NEQ6
Captured in artemis, stacked in AA and processed in Registar and Photoshop
10 x 1200 secs Ha (taken from Bromley SE London)
7 x 1200 secs Oiii Kelling Heath Norfolk
I think this needs a lot more data, but that will have to come in due course given the opportunities.

There's a lot of really good OIII data there Carole but as you say it needs a lot more Ha to give a good balance (which should also make it easier to process too). I'm really looking forward to seeing the result once that balance is better, it should look really stunning.
Robert
Thanks Robert. Do you think it would benefit from adding RGB to Ha and Oiii?
Carole
Very nice.
As Robert says, the OIII data is much better than the Ha. If you can get some Ha from a dark site then it will make a big difference.
That Atik 314L is serving you very well.

Yes I agree, next opportunity.

The OIII is looking very good Carole
Thanks Fay.

Think this is better colour:

Yes, better colour balance and you've brought out a lot more of the fainter detail. Also a large circular shadow 2/3 up on left of the Crescent?

Yes, shows up more on here, it's a very stubborn dark bit of dirt on the sensor that flats don't seem to remove. I spoke to Vince at Atik about it when I was at Kelling and he said if I post the camera to them they will clean it for me.
I also forgot to crop the edge off the image duh!
Carole
Edge cropped out and dark blob mostly processed out, horrible dark rings around stars got rid of.
Hopefully last revision.
