Title: RJ12 cable for GPUSB

one of the clips on my cable has snapped off & so it wont work. does anyone know if i can buy and RJ12 cable or does it have to be special?

it goes from the GPUSB into the guide port on the mount

If I recall it's the same as an ST4 cable as I am sure that's what Bern told me.  I still have my old RJ12 cable which I was keeping for emergency should the St4 cable fail.

The RJ11 style clips are rated for 100 uses according to a guy on the EQMOD forum. There are military grade ones but they are still only rated for 1000 cycles. So ST4 cables don't last long when you are using a temporary setup. So I don't use ST4, I use pulse guiding. I have a spare ST4 cable or two but I'm in France :)

Fay I have a tool for fitting RJ12 connectors - if you send me your damaged cable I'll happily cut off the old connector & fit a new one... John
