Title: Friday 13th Full Moon
Post by: MarkS on Jun 13, 2014, 02:20:55
Part of the full moon taken this morning.  Single 1/100sec exposure at ISO 100 with Canon 600D on Celestron C11 with 0.8 reducer.  Effective focal length 2240mm at F/8.  Some sharpening and contrast enhancement applied.  I have other pieces for an eventual mosiac.

That's right, not until 2049 - I captured a rare event  :cheesy:

It's a nuisance that the other parts of the mosaic did not come out nearly as well - either the seeing deteriorated or tube currents started up inside the C11.
