Below Image 2 from South of France Astro trip. This is my first time to image this - lots going on & shame I haven't got a slightly wider FOV. Imaging details ED80 + Atik 314L+, 7nm Baader, 18 X 600 Secs, No flats, Biases or darks. Again I don't have colour for this so its another for the mono image's society I'm afraid. Thanks again to Tony for loan of the 12V Battery. I pushed this harder than I normally would during processing but hopefully not too much.
Thks for looking, John.

Nice smooth image John, you did really well. have you got a focal reducer?
Very nice. Lots of good contrast and fine detail in there!
Stars look very round as well.
Thks Fay, Mark. Fay - No I don't have a FR.. might look at getting one although I think ED80 one is quite expensive..
John
Hi John
That's good, on the FR you can borrow mine, but you will not be able to use the OAG if you use it :-( unless you go out and buy one of those super slim ones which I had before I just went back to a guide scope for the ED80. Never easy this hobby to get the key 100%.
Chris
Umm yes... hadn't thought of that - yet more problems. OAG is a really clean, simple, reliable way to guide so I am loath to move away from it... I have a mate that has a ZenithStar 80 I can borrow - 480mm at f6. Should give me a wider field so might give that a try sometime...
That's a very difficult object to image and you've done an excellent job - best I've seen for a long time !
Really great image John.
The mono images seem more natural with what seems to be more detail.

PS..........Think nothing of the battery, but it does give me a warm glowing feeling to know that this wouldn't been achieved without me.
Did I tell you about Flis's 240v hairdryer on the last day. :!
Thanks a lot Robert - really appreciate comment. Definitely need to follow up & get some colour for this at some stage.
Cheers Tony - Mono rules...
John
