Title: Perseids - August 2013
Post by: Mike on Aug 13, 2013, 11:12:14
So who caught any on camera? I left my Nikon D7000 lying on its back on a table doing continuous 10 second exposures at ISO1000 with a Nikon 10.5mm F2.8 fisheye lens and managed to capture a few:

This one isn't a Perseid (wrong direction) but it's nice so I included it.

Excellent pictures Mike!

I did gave it a try (as I have on previous occasions) but caught nothing within the FOV of my lens.  I really must get myself a decent wide angle.

Great shots Mike, I am sure I saw that one going along through Cassiopeia. It was a good show for the hour I was out last night.

I didnt get any on camera, but I did see the ISS, another Iridium flare and about a dozen perseids.
