Title: DMK21au04 problem with Win 7 and PHD
Post by: Fay on Sep 28, 2012, 18:11:12
i have had my camera while & have just set it up on Win 7 laptop. it works with IC Capture, but with PHD, i select WDM, as mono USB camera. when the camera name comes up it says DMX......etc instead of DMK.

The laptop froze twice & went into meltdowm twice!!!! ok with XP

Has anyone any clues please

Try calling the camera Imaging Source instead of DMK

Craig Stark says PHD works with Imaging Source cameras- have a look at the website help files

I will rephrase. anyone with a DMK, have you had to download any drivers etc when using Win 7?

Thanks

Get the latest driver and the new PhD 1.13.6 beta. Fixes many camera issues according to the Yahoo stark labs group. http://www.stark-labs.com/prerelease.html (http://www.stark-labs.com/prerelease.html)
