Title: Hubble Extreme Deep Field
Post by: MarkS on Sep 26, 2012, 12:55:23
A new image from Hubble - the eXtreme (sic) Deep Field image shows 5500 galaxies within an area of sky 2.3 by 2 arcmin and used a total exposure time of 22.5 days.

I still prefer the Shelley Deep Field image (total exposure time 2.16 days)  :cheesy:

Wow!

There are some very odd shaped galaxies in there too.
