Title: Sky-bow
Post by: doug on Aug 23, 2012, 09:34:40
Took this with my Olympus Mu while on holiday in Northumberland. Huge sundog which faded when I went to find the small camera but the "Sky-bow" appeared.....

Very bright......  I shall call it my Praying Mantis nebula......  :D

Well that's a first, I've never seen one like that before and the colours are beautiful.

A very nice capture.

Beautiful Doug!

I've never seen an extended one like this before.  Far more colourful than our usual astro-images!

Well I think you are all scared to state the obvious.................. that it is slightly over processed, and the RGB needs to be tweeked to allow for the noise to be reduced, not enough black and no defraction spikes. :!

Other than that.........A great image Doug.  ;)
