Is is safe to put Java onto iPad? I want to watch the Curiosity landing but the NASA link wants me to download Java. I thought my iPad had all these things anyway and I don't want them to clash.

I have just answered my own question. I googled and discovered that iPad doesn't support Java owing to a dispute. So I am leaving well alone!!!

Delphine the iPad gets around the java problem via the use of apps. NASA has many apps available free to download and you can watch it on those.
