Title: My first capture of Saturn.
Post by: Kylee on May 13, 2012, 23:03:19
A one off exposure with my Canon 600D attached to my Skymax 127. Didn't get my webcam out tonight as the clouds were coming so I thought I'd just try my DSLR. I am so pleased with my first attempt...can't wait to get all the gear out now  :D

Really well done Kylee, you're getting some good "first time" results.

Well done - it's a very clear image.

There really is nothing like the thrill of catching Saturn for the first time - it's a thing of wonder.

Try it again with a webcam and a Barlow - you'll be surprised at the difference.

I'll definitely do that Mark...can't wait to have another go. I was surprised at how amazing a one off exposure came out. Every time I see Saturn with my own eyes I'm so excited...what an amazing sight  :D
