Title: IC405 15/1/12
Post by: Jim on Jan 16, 2012, 15:05:12
I had a first go at this as well. 6 hours of fiddling with the guiding and got it working the last hour! Needs more data but I'm really pleased I got something
Meade 127
QSI 583
Guiding Atik 16
6 x 300s Ha subs, darks, flat and bias applied
Captured in Nebulosity, processed in Maxim

There's some good detail in that Jim.

It's a shame you spent the evening fighting the guiding.  With a few more hours of data that would be an excellent image.

Well Jim, I'm sorry you had to fight for 6 hours but the result promises a lot.  Hopefully next time you'll have less than one hour fiddling plus 6 hours of data and a wonderful image to boot.

PS. It's good to see you imaging again.

Robert
