Hi,
I've been imaging for a while this evening to try to get some good O3 for the Rosette, anyone else out?
Chris
Hi Chris
Yes I'm out, trying to do IC405
Jim,
Coincidence - I'm out - also doing IC405!!

I've finished for the night. I had a few technical issues which meant I got only 50 subs of 5 minutes when I should have got at least 80. The USB hub repeatedly stopped talking to the devices plugged into it - requiring a reboot each time. I don't know what's going on.
The sky was excellent tonight - an SQM-L reading of 20.88 which is the second highest I've ever recorded here (the highest was 20.99 on a really extraordinary night).

Good night
I was tucked up in bed at 11:30 with the kit running outside, I woke at 1pm, parked the mount remotely and then setup a series of darks 32x10 minutes for reference. The woke at 7 and did sky flats. My laptop is all frosty out there.
If its clear tonight I'll image M42 in ha.

In the current version of EQMod there is a Park timer. Fill in the minutes remaining and push the button. No worries. It's on the expanded view at the bottom centre. Those who use EQMod will know what I mean.
I was out with my new fisheye lens trying to do a timelapse of the sky. Although it was clear the transparency wasn't good in Orpington though and most images were almost washed out with the orange light pollution.
I was out too, adding some more data to Rosette which I did on Friday, and started M1.

I'd certainly agree with you about the transparency Mike. Guiding was also rather random and the Ha filter I'm trying on the HS is giving haloes :( I think I'll go back to the UHS-C for tonight.
