Title: NGC 281 The Pacman Nebula in Ha

This image shows NGC281, the PacMan Nebula taken from home but.

First process and a bit noisy as it was in the mirk for most of the time.

Taken with the Skywatcher MN190, FLI ML8300 through a Baader Ha filter.
Subs: 24 x 1200s (8 hours total)
Date: 26,28,29/09/2011
Captured with MaximDL and processed in Pixinsight 1.7

Looks like there's lots of great detail in there.  8 hours of data!

Robert that looks like a seriously good close-up.. only thing I say was per your last image - I think Contrast could be increased a 'tad' would really make it jump out of the page...

Hi Robert,

Great image, I'm with John on the contrast the black bocks look grey so I'd darken it a bit.  When you getting the colour?
