Title: Ced214(Sh2-171) with NGC7822 in Cepheus
Post by: MarkS on Sep 05, 2011, 21:31:32
This is the last of the 3 images I took at Riberac.  Taken on 29 Aug 2011.  Unfortunately it was on the warmest (18C) and murkiest of the 3 imaging nights.  The sky was similar in quality to an average night at High Halden.

Details:
53 x 5min H-alpha modded Canon EOS350D at ISO800 on Tak Epsilon 180ED using Astronomik CLS filter

The image could really do with a bit more data to reduce the noise, because it is quite a challenging target.

Another great one Mark.

Glad to see you didn't spend all your time lazing around  ;)

Very nice Mark, this is a new one to me.  I like all the different depth levels of nebulosity and lovely stars colours as usual.
