Title: The Bubble Nebula NGC7635 20th and 21st August 2011
Post by: Carole on Aug 22, 2011, 14:37:07
This could do with more subs/dark site.  13 and 19 degrees (not got my DSLR cooler working yet, still waiting for a 12V splitter), but in any case this was really taken to test out the new flattener.

Taken over two evenings, total of 20 x 5mins 800 ISO, Modified Canon 450D CLS filter
ED120 guided on NEQ6, QHY5 and PHD, stacked in DSS and PS CS3 (had some stacking artifacts but will do separate post on this).

It's a little red for me, but nice capture!

Not looking too bad at all.

Does the Full frame show whether the flattener actually works as it's supposed to ? any cropping will hide it.

Yes, Mick, I posted it on the Flatteners thread in Technical, you already commented on it, not cropped.

There is a lot more to come out of that, I would have thought, Carole.

Can't seem to find any more Fay.  I think I need to do it at a dark site, and more subs.

Thanks
