Title: The Sun - sometime WC 13.6.2011
Post by: Carole on Aug 11, 2011, 20:04:16
I had almost fogotten these AVIs.  Also cannot remember much detail, but the AVI runs for about 1 minute and was probably 5 fps.

I had the society Coronado after the Sun open day on 12th June in order to pass it on to Phil.  When Phil came over to collect it we had a go at imaging with both my DSLR and webcam since I have never managed to get any detail when I have tried previously.  We found that if brightness was brought right down and colour reduced to almost B&W we could get a little detail.  All the colour ones (without turning the colour right down) are rubbish  as I found before.

I have turned up the colours again after processing in both Registax and PS CS3, captured with my Phillips webcam.

The first time I have managed to get any detail whatsoever though this was a joint effort.
Really struggling with solar imaging.  8)
