I did not think this was coming along too good so stopped the subs, but now wish I had carried on.

It looks pretty darned good as it is to me. You should have carried on regardless and just left it taking subs while you had a nap or some more rosé.
I know, I am getting too picky
I'm not familiar with this nebula Fay, but looks pretty good to me. Shame you decided to stop though.

I must try harder to be that bad
Fay - that'll be a corker with some more subs.. superb FOV & stars look great - dont know what you were moaning about... :-(
John
It's the way it goes sometimes Fay, the further you go the more critical you become. Don't forget that it takes a lot of subs to get the really dark stuff.
All is not lost as you'll be able to finish off the lovely image home.
Robert
Thanks everyone, will have another go
That's really nice Fay - you really should have continued with it.
Watch out - because this one is on my list for the Summer!

That's much better, lots more detail and lot less noise - Looks really good.
Keep adding to it though, then that Shelley bloke will never catch up ;)

Funny you should say that - I did have a go at it last night with the Bananascope/Canon. Dunno when I'll get the chance to process it though ...
Fay, those extra subs have made a huge difference. It's looking very good.
